Through two years and seven months, U-Theatre collaborated with the Shaolin Temple Wushu Training Centre to create a new classic arts form of Zen and martial arts. The production ‘A Touch of Zen’ was then well-received in Hong Kong Arts Festival, Huayi Festival of Arts at Esplanade Singapore and the le Festival Automne en Normandie, Rouen.

A Touch of Zen is a story about a martial art master who realize the truth of life through the conflict of killing, submersible practice, persistent, arrogant and confuse. Merging Shaolin Wushu and the 'U-Theatre Aesthetics' in the art form, it tells the story of a brave warrior who was searching and returning to the core of life thru understanding and choices. It actually reveals the path to true martial arts and the path to ZEN may seem to be different, but in fact they lead to the same goal.
